Hello! My name is Share Bon, owner and barber at Sunshine Barbershop here in Panora, Iowa.
I’ve been a licensed barber for more than 13 years, but my connection to barbering began even earlier in Thailand, where I learned by watching my dad, an experienced barber. Those early experiences helped shape my skills and sparked a passion for helping people look their best, feel confident, and feel genuinely cared for.

After coming to Iowa, I attended the American College of Hairstyling in Des Moines, graduating in 2014. My career took me in a few different directions—including several years working as a case manager with an organization serving refugees and immigrants—but I continued to feel drawn back to barbering. Eventually, I took the leap and opened my own barbershop in Des Moines, which I operated for approximately eight years.

Now, a new chapter has brought me to Panora! My wife, Ko Moh, owner of Sunshine Nail Salon, encouraged me to join her here and bring my barbering experience to the community. Her support helped make Sunshine Barbershop a reality.

My goal is simple: to provide a friendly, relaxed environment where every client receives quality, personalized barbering services and leaves feeling their best. I’m excited to meet you, get to know the Panora community, and share the skills and passion I’ve built throughout my career.

Outside of the barbershop, I’m a musician and songwriter and love spending time outdoors.
You’ll often find me painting, fishing, hiking, playing soccer, or singing.

I look forward to welcoming you to Sunshine Barbershop!
